  : Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

. Remove the wheel and tire.

. Loosen the 3 spring and shock absorber retaining nuts.



. Disconnect the shock absorber and spring assembly from the lower arm.
  Using a jack and a suitable block of wood, support the base of the shock absorber.
  Remove the nut and bolt.




. Remove the shock absorber and spring assembly retaining nuts.



. Remove the shock absorber and spring assembly.

. Install the shock absorber and spring assembly.
  Make sure the spring and shock absorber assembly top mounting to body mating faces are clean.
  Install the nuts but do not fully tighten at this stage.

. Connect the shock absorber and spring assembly to the lower arm.
  Tighten the nut and bolt to 300 Nm (221 lb.ft).
  Tighten the three retaining nuts to 70 Nm (52 lb.ft).

. Install the wheel and tire.
  Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (103 lb.ft).
